Nitrous Docs

Connect to Github

For those developers using Github, Nitrous lets you easily add your container’s ssh keys.

First, you’ll need to authenticate your Github account so we’re allowed to add ssh keys to your profile on Github.

Navigate to your Account Settings page and select Connect with Github. You’ll be redirected to the Github authentication page, where you can review the policies and select Allow.

Add Container SSH Key to Github

Now that you’ve successfully authenticated your Github account, you’ll be able to add your SSH keys from each container to your Github account. This will allow you to work with your repositories on Github.

Within your container settings, navigate to the SSH Keys section. You will see that there is a key already provided for this container.

Select Add to Github, and within a couple seconds you will see a confirmation message that the key has been sucessfully added.
